Alkalising Recipe of the Week – Chocolate Cream Smoothie
Searching for a healthier alternative to a chocolate milkshake, well look no further. This sweet and decadent smoothie is also alkaline…so no need to feel guilty for indulging! What more could you want? It’s ideal to enjoy any time of the day or as a inbetween meal snack.
3 medjool dates (seeds removed)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup almond milk (or other milk alternative – quinoa, soy, rice, oat)
1 large kale leaf (stem removed)
1 large lettuce leaf
1 tbsp raw cacao
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a few ice cubes to create a thicker texture.
