Alkalising Recipe of the Week – Vegetable Patties

These patties are delicious for dinner, served with a side salad. Then you can eat the leftovers for lunch the next day, they are simply divine when you heat them up and add them to a sprouted wrap with fresh salad and hummus.

Serves 4

 

Ingredients

1 cup cooked beans (mashed chickpeas, whole lentils or cannellini)

¾ cup cooked millet

1 cup cooked pumpkin, mashed

1 zucchini, grated

1 carrot, grated

2 tbsp parsley

1 tbsp mixed curry powder

2 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tbsp Morlife Chia Seeds

1 pinch Celtic sea salt

2 tbsp Morlife Psyllium

Sprouts and coriander to serve

 

Method

Preheat fry pan with 2-3 tbsp coconut oil

In a large bowl combine all ingredients except sesame seeds.

Form balls, roll in sesame seeds and psyillum and add to hot pan.

Fry until golden brown and serve with spouts, coriander and side salad.
