Green tapenade and pesto

tapSmoothies aren’t the only way to get your greens in! Try these recipes for super healthy, super tasty additions to your snack plate…


Spirulina tapenade 


-1 cup of pitted black olives

-1 small clove of garlic, crushed

-5 fresh basil leaves

-1 teaspoon of himalayan salt

-1 teaspoon of organic spirulina powder (I use Morlife Organic Spirulina)

-2 tablespoon of capers

-1/2 lime juice

-3 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil



-Place everything in a food processor and mix until you have a coarse paste. Enjoy!



pestoChlorella pesto


-2 cups fresh basil

-1 tbsp organic chlorella (I like Morlife Organic Chlorella)

-1 small garlic clove

-1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

-1 tsp himalayan salt

-1/4 cup pine nuts

-1 tbsp lemon juice



-Place everything in a food processor and mix until smooth. Enjoy!
