Staying alkaline in winter

What’s more, a hot coffee or latte can become a soothing winter addiction. You may be aware that a diet low in fresh fruits and vegetables and high in animal meat can cause an acidic build up in the body. Caffeine and alcohol can cause a similar result, leaving behind an acid residue. A convenient way of maximising your greens intake through winter is by taking a concentrated greens powder, including highly alkaline sources such as wheat grass, barley grass, spirulina and chlorella.  These powders are usually consumed with juice or a smoothie, however during winter you may wish to sprinkle it through your vegetable dishes for a warmer alternative.

  2. Ive been taking 2000 mgs of MSM a day and it keeps me in the 7.5 range. I have tried baking soda but its a hassle trying to take it in between meals.
