Home-made Baked Kale Chips

Ingredients:baked kale chips

1 bunch kale, leaves only

1 tbsp salt

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Pinch of pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C and line baking tray with baking paper
  2. Wash kale leaves and tear into bite size pieces. Spin leaves with salad spinner until thoroughly dry. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle sesame seeds, salt and pepper.
  3. Bake in oven until edges are brown (not burnt) between 10 to 15 minutes. Enjoy immediately.

 

Rainbow veggie Stir fry

Ingredients:

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 red onion, sliced

1 red chilli, thinly sliced

5 large Shitake mushrooms, sliced

3 tbsp mushroom broth

1 capsicum, sliced

2 carrots, sliced

1 broccoli, chopped

Pinch of black pepper

Pinch of salt

1 tsp sesame oil

Pinch sesame seeds

2 tbsp olive oil

Method:

  1. In a medium non-stick frying pan, heat olive oil then add garlic and onion slices and fry until fragrant.
  2. In a bowl, soak shitake mushrooms in boiling water until soft or for 15-20 minutes
  3. Throw in capsicum, broccoli, carrot slices, chili slices, mushroom broth and mushroom slices in frying pan and cook until soft
  4. Add salt, black pepper, sesame oil and season. Transfer to serving plate and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

 

Revitalising Greens smoothie

Ingredients: greenssmoothie

2 kiwi, peeled

1 banana, peeled

1 cup baby spinach

½ cup greek yoghurt

2 tbsp Morlife Chia seeds

½ cup natural apple juice

1 tbsp Morlife Alkalising Greens pH7.3 powder

10- 12 ice cubes

Method:

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until smooth consistency
